The 1st Ninja War started one year ago, between the peaceful and reasonable Leaf Village, and the power hungry and ruthless Mist Village. The Leaf has been mainly fighting on the defensive, but even their legendary patience is wearing thin. Bloodshed could easily break out, and anything could tip the scale. The ninja world is a powder keg, and you could just have the match to light the fuse.
